With 554 pages, over 2,100 pictures and graphics, you can expect a lot of detail. The Beakhead and Forecastle areas exemplify the detail of the Warrior model.
Notice in this photo the classical design of an intricate scroll pattern across the beakhead, on the stem of the main head rail, and even on the cathead. The nine pound cannon on the forecastle deck are not yet finished with their tackle since the final volume, Book 5, will feature carved figures doing the work of rigging the guns as one of the diorama
Scanning down the length of the ship in the previous picture, you can see how much of a floating fortress was a 74-gun ship with all its guns run out. The gun port lids are not yet installed as this will be the final detail in Book 5.
